Good lunch, but ready to try more. The sides, cornbread, and service were 5 stars. Chicken livers were not great. Very hard fried. Bitter tatse. But everything else was delicious! We have had breakfast to-go which was delicious; sausage gravy and biscuits, and chocolate gravy and biscuits were great! For the second lunch visit, the chicken fingers were great as well as mashed potatoes and big butter beans! Update: Chicken and dumplings! I prefer flat dumplings bc that's what my grandmother made but the taste was so good!!

We were on our way from Fairview to Huntsville and starving! On a whim we did a u-turn and stopped at Nana's! The breakfast was so so good! The waitress was super sweet and explained that their menu changes every day and all homemade southern food! Go try it... I'm glad we did!

Nana's is an awesome, comfortable, country restaurant with good food, great service and friendly staff with honest smiles, {and they're pretty too ☺). I am guessing it is family owned and operated? I just happened to see it while visiting the area, but I am so glad I stopped to check it out and have a late breakfast. There is a full breakfast menu with enough choices to please anyone. I had what was probably my favorite omelette of all time, and I consider myself to be an omelette connoisseur. Nana's are a bit different, but in a good way. Mine was unusually tasty and really stuffed with goodies. The grits were perfect; piping hot and with just the right texture. There is also a full lunch menu, and I took pictures of both. I was told there are also daily specials. I will try it as soon as possible. The place was clean too, and the decor was adequate and homey. I really like restaurants like this. Though it is a bit of a drive for us, I can't wait to go back and bring the whole family. You should also give the place a try. As a bonus, they are even open on Sunday! Thanks, Nana's.
